A Getaway : Cherating, Kuantan - Day 1

We've planned a mini getaway for ourselves since working in the city was so tiring and stressful. I've been day dreaming to come back to the beach, craving for the good food and booze. So we've managed to crash to Cherating with no reservation for rooms but only crossing our fingers hoping to get a room when we get there.Ideally,I want to stay at Tanjung Inn as I've been there for at least 3 times and I really like the surrounding and ambience.Guess what, fortunetly, there is still a fan room available! A heads up for those who want to stay at Tanjung Inn, it is a chalet with basic necessities but most importantly, it is what you get for what you pay.

This is the surrounding of Tanjung Inn, nice setting with well kept landscaping and apparently, they did some refurbishmant on the landscaping too. 

This is the view from outside of our chalet with 2 timber lounger for you to sit and enjoy the view. But do remember to put mosquito repellant or you will be feeding the mosquitos.

This is Don't Tell Mama, a cafe/bistro that looks like a hut/shack which is along the beach side but don't get intimidated by the appearance as the food and the booze is two thumbs up.

The Pina Colada is a must try!! I never had such a good Pina Colada back in KL.

This beef burger is worth a try also. The meat is very juicy and tender and as usual I really love the fries.It is

crispy outside and soft inside.Yummy.

At night, we went to Duyung Restaurant and had this steamed crab which is recommended by some blogger and it is not bad.Other than that, we had Tomyam soup and Onion omelette. Overall the food is not bad but not good enough.
